It is sad to know we would complain and bother to write in when we met with bad experiences but yet none stood up to wrote about the virtue of good taxi drivers. When taxi drivers are good to you, reminded you to take the belongings u have left behind, u appreciate it for a few seconds but did not pen them down. But when u are taken for a ride, u complain and wrote it and announced to the whole world.

That website always ask pax to complain to LTA, shouldn't pax complain to LTA that how hard it is to get taxi after 8pm outside the CBD area?

after these years , i realized in taxi business , one can never be satisfied , can never fulfill the "best of both world " situations .

Either u wait at FarEast Plaza to save that $3 , for 1 hour , or pay $3 and taxi waiting for you @ Lucky Plaza .

But Singaporeans are PAP (Pampered And Protected) citizens,
Wait 1 hr for taxi, save $3, COMPLAIN!
Pay $3, taxis waiting, also COMPLAIN!
Very clever to KPKB but never suggest effective solutions.
So, our chenghu always come up with simple, short & sharp solutions:

The problem is many find the taxi fare expensive. So they put the blame on TD.
They paid so much so expect first class service.

TD are known as service transport provider. Yes "service" but not "National Service".
Pax want cheap taxi fare. Taxi driver need to earn enough to put food on the table.

Most taxi driver can't survive driving for 8 hours. i.e to say is not an 8 hours job compare to many other vocation.
Some drive as much as 14 or 15 hours.
Only those" retire to drive" will find it easy. i.e no more housing loan. Children already grown up. They are only driving for pocket money.

So where did the fare goes to ?????
I believe if they know this . There will be less complains on taxi driver.
